Parish singing Convention at Mann School House Sunday
Easter Sunday will be a big day for Mann School Community
as singers throughout all North Louisiana and South Arkansas
convene with Richland Parish Singers Association for the
second quarterly convention of the year.
Not only will it be the first time for the convention to
meet in this community, but will be a dedication to the new club
building just being completed by the community club under the
leadership of Mr. Norman McKnight president of the club.
This building should seat several hundred people, and no
reason exists to make believe the day to be unsuccessful.
throngs of people are expected and leading singers from far
and near will be heard.
This convention continues from ten 'till four and is under
the leadership of L.L.Robinson, president; T.L.Seal vice-
president; Miss Sammie Lane Sistrunk, secretary; and T.F.
Morse chaplain. All these members are looking forward to a most successful program.
Second Sunday in July the convention meets in Delhi, and the
first Sunday in October meets at Dunn.
This convention ,equal to any and all of its kind in the state,
requests your presence.
It's your affair, so, let's be there
