here are some pictures of low pressure steam pipe off an Early 1800 boiler-pipe was rolled and soldered and a vent stack off the heating and cook stove.

its copper pipe-the whatttttt is a example of how copper pipe was constructed and used on early steamers-sorry if i didn't Pull a diagram out of a book, no malice in mind.
