✅ SOLVED Lt. Rank, but what time period?

[Vhoov]

I know this is US Army 1st Lieutenant rank, but I don't know the time period.

Found WWI era captains rank that matches the design...but no lieutenant bars. Notice the two diagonal lines top and bottom of the bar that are thicker and stand out.

I know what the other badge is. It is a driver/mechanics badge.

Here's an example of your 2nd lieutenant bar. They date from around WW1 or so.

Very nice, hope you get an exact date for your find.

If it's gold it's a 2nd stiff shirt. Nice find.
