I generally work a pattern perpendicular to the shoreline. Sometimes loose sometimes tight depending on what kind of signals I'm getting. Every once in awhile I'll go parallel, again based on the amount of signals.

This morning I spent about an hour and a half and managed to score .36 cents and some trash. I was about 20 minutes from having to leave the beach and thought. This sux. I turned left to start a parallel path with the shoreline, took 2 steps and bingo!

9 grams of 14K white gold.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there!!

Whatever works! You seem to make it work. Great loot. Are you selling on ebay or sending to a refiner?

Yep... that's the way it happens...BANG!

Congrats on a nice one!:hello2::hello2::hello2:

Very nice ring find, tnt-K9!

If I'm hunting in the rocks at low tide, I go perpendicular to the shoreline..easier for me to keep track of my hunting line, but on the wet slope I go parallel.

You are hunting in the water, correct?

Congrats on the gold!
