Went to the bank to dump my already searched through dimes and pennies... total amount $284.

Machine got jammed and the teller pulled out the machine. (sounds similar to the IKE story posted a few days ago...)

Out pops out of the reject slot a 1949-d silver washington quarter! along with some russian looking coin the size of a nickel.

Also got $100 in nickels and $50 in pennies from that bank. Went to my half dollar pickup bank and got $1500 in half dollars.

Maybe my day will be lucky!

Nice finds! Those silver Washingtons aren't easy to come by!
You should post a picture of the foreign coin. I'm sure someone will be able to give you some more info about it.

Yes, thank you. this russian coin I found is a 1 ruble from 1998...

It seems everyone finds treasure in those machines! I keep trying to get them to open the machine for me but the won't. Maybe jamming it is the trick Congrats on the Washington!
