My first knife find and the handle is is good shape. But I can't tell if its a Case knife or not,with mother of pearl.
How should I go about cleaning it so I might get the blades to open.
Chances are you will ruin it trying to open it. Most of the ones I find have nothing but rust left of the blade. You will know more after you try the vinegar thing maybe you will get lucky.
