magnetic US pennies

So I get this small rare earth magnet (for magnet fishing) and I ran it by a stack of toasted wheats and it yanks one out. The wheat is so toasted all I can make out is 19xx and Lincoln's head. I know there were some steel war pennies but were any other Lincoln years magnetic?

Sweet. If I remember right, this one was an almost bright red when I pulled it from a river bank. I rubbed a bit of snow on it and it destroyed the somewhat readable surface right away. What a surprise
