I bet when you find a Gouge you say darn just another freakin Gouge? I know I say that when I find a scraper, lol
You find allot of them don't you?
Im quite sure I saw those type of weights listed as canoe weights some place.

No Rock when I find a gouge I hoot like a rabid owl.Then I wash it off and sit down and admire it.Its pottery I don't get to fired up about anymore.I have six or seven whole ones and a few brokers.I never tire of the woodworking tools....mjm

Yes I find plenty of pottery that's for sure. I don't even bring it home anymore unless its a nice piece and I don't have the design yet. I have seen a Chisel found but never a Gouge around here. Id love to find one, Congrats
