I wonder what happen to the young lady, it appears that the buffalo was going after her since she was the last one to go behind the trees, either she got hurt or he took the buffalo's attention away from her to save her at his own peril!!

Never seen a bison fight, but I have watched (from far too close a vantage
point) when two Brahma bulls went at it. I can only imagine having one
of those angry monsters putting me in their sights, wanting only to stomp
my soon-to-be-deceased corpse into the dirt....

Most animals are in a form of distress when they are dusting for parasites to begin with. Then add the agitation of the truck nearby and the movement of the chase of the people makes for a bad mix.

Saw this on the news. The old man was originally a proper distance away. According to the report the bull was first aggravated by the white pickup, then continued on to the man. His granddaughter was not hurt. He suffered a broken hip and other severe injuries, none fatal as of the news report. The man who filmed it, along with some others managed to distract the bull and finally cause it to leave the area.
