Maps of Mining Claims

Anyone know of any decent maps to view mining claims on, specifically oregon. It appears that geocommunicator no longer shows claims.

And you get the same incredibly innacurate data as you did with the GeoComm as it is the same data.
Only good for a rough tool in your search and to finish the job off right, before heading out, have yourself a visit to the BLM and CO. Rcorders.

So when you go to the BLM do they have maps for sale or what?

So I take it "closed claims" are now open to anyone? What does it cost usually to stake a claim?

Plan on spending all day at BLM trying to locate an open claim.

No need for a visit, you can call the BLM public record room and they can assist you, even copy/mail location notices for any given area for small fee.
They are very helpful for the new but may be a might busy with the influx of interest.

If the snow ever melts here, I know my caretaker will have a busy year looking in on my claims while I'm dredging in AK.
