Marking currently made points & objects

How would a person mark a point to show that they are a currently made point and NOT a NA authentic point ? I heard about using some engraver or some kind of ink marker , but I'm not sure what or how to accomplish this correctly ! OR do I need to do this ?

Currently my knapping skills aren't that good and it is apparent that the object is a currently made point . I never want to try to pass off anything I made as a authentic NA object !

You can use a diamond scribe to write your initials on a point. You have to look close to see it though. You can cut initials much deeper with a vibrating engraver with a pointed carbide tip. You can also write on a point with a Sharpie and then put a coat of clear fingernail polish over it. That’s better than nothing.

Thankyou Gary ! I'll probely never be close to your ability's BUT I can't get there without lot's of practice and pointer's like you have shown to us all ! Thanks for your guidance !
