Went back to a house that was built in 1730 today. Been having luck in the farm field, getting a large cent, old flat buttons, a 1917 merc and now these 2 coins today They were both only about 4 inches. The Mass. Copper is in bad shape, does anyone know of any technique thats good for cleaning it or least something that can bring up the features more distinctly? I also have no idea what the other coin is. I can read "portugalia" on one side and the other side has a crown on it. Any help would be appreciated. Happy Hunting

Nice coins. Always a plus when you can get a positive ID. Hope that place turns up some more goodies for you.
