I haven't posted in ages. I haven't had the money to hunt lately.. But I did some searching this week.. I bought a bag off a counter yesterday.. And I got 10 40%s and this beauty. 1877 S HH guys!

Odd that you only got 10 40%ers and this. I would've expected a nice mix of some other stuff; Did you find this at the start, middle, or end of the bag? I would've hated to find it first and then only find a few 40s too!

Not to sound paranoid but did you check to make sure it wasn't a counterfeit? I am thinking about checking all my silver bullion for the reason that like 90% of old coins are counterfeit. And when I bought most of my bullion I was in my teens and frankly quite stupid.

If its a true coin, I am soooo deliciously jealous of you right now. LOL. Congrats.

Other than a magnet test (I haven't done one) now else would I be able to tell?

That's just gorgeous. She may be seated, but if I were to find that coin, I would find myself lying down very quickly, and somebody would need to throw a bucket of ice water on my face to revive me!
