Got out for a full day of swinging. Found a new Victorian site to add to the docket. Mostly the usual stuff . . . buttons, including a nice thistle button, coins including two Victorian tokens and an 1820 ships token. Most interesting thing is the decorative silver thing. It's mounted on iron so I'm thinking it may be a bridle rosette. I'm also thinking that it's actually silver! Anyone seen anything like it?
