Medieval gold ring

I record all the British Antique Road Shows and this is one I'd like to share. Lucky chap borrows his brothers MD and finds a 500 year old gold ring.

Didn't he say he hunted two hours before finding the ring?
Well then, I'm sure he managed to dig some junk, too ...!
