Hey all...

My handle may be Limitool but my name is Brad. Within the first 2-3 years of joining this site I've met a couple of folks. Ole' Frank (Huntsmans 53) and a lady from Lyles's TN. that Frank and I both spent time with MD'ing and gold prospecting with later in South Carolina. Frank and her both call every other week and we share the latest news with each other.

Frank hurry up and get your ass back here (with ALOT OF SPRAY) and let's get out back again where we left off.

Last week my wife and I left Middle TN. and headed to Battle Creek MI. We "camped out" at Firekeepers Casino. After losing $1.00 or $2.00 dollars after 3 days we decided to move on (maybe after 1-2 grand +).... but who's counting...(ME)? Wife had fun and that's all that mattered at this point. After major back surgery 6 months ago and wanting to visit 3 children in area we went and she had fun.

While there I got to meet DeepseekerADS and Relventchair at the Casino. Deepseeker while living in VA. was visiting a child in the Detroit area and agreed to us meet in B.C. Relventchair lived within 100 miles of B.C. and met both of us there. I can't thank either enough for their efforts getting there and the time we spent together.

From me to you.... Roger and Dean THANK YOU.... It meant a lot to me too met you two and spend a couple hours together. Nothing is ever as it seems until you address it personally. But, these two folks are class acts.

I thank you both for meeting me and my wife and spending some time. I hope other T-Net members have the same outcome and enjoyment.

Brad

happy to hear they are not axe murderers

Road trip, meet up with new friends and an overnight casino visit. Except for lack of metal detecting, a damn near perfect vacation.

The people here are what makes this a great community and forum. :notworthy: I have meet many members from Tnet and am glad to call them friends. Anytime anyone of ya'll are heading to North Central Ohio, PM me and we can work out the details to hunt together.

As long as you don't laugh when you walk into my garage and see all the cool junk and relics I keep from digging.

Were at in Middle Tennessee

I had my old Fisher 1260X with me but it stayed in the truck.... Brad & Dean had their eyes focused on the gaming floor!

look for the bathtub in the front yard!

I have been on other internet sites where folks have a common interest. I have offered to meet up with those folks, but it never seemed to work out.........even spoke with them on the phone. Maybe it is a matter of "trusting" that the other person is truly representing him or herself as they seem to be in their posts.
Call me crazy, but here we are, a group of people hunting treasures (something most others would be afraid to speak of openly and would take extremes to protect) and this group of people want to meet and share...........
The real treasures here (imho) ARE the people...................

Yeah, I know the place. Fortunately they had to use the axe handles for firewood...

Should be safe now.

.... along with an old sofa and an old style toilet for sale.

Damn.... I was typing this post back to Jeff and saw something to my right out the window. A red-tailed hawk landed in the yard about 8-10 yds. from the window. Then I saw about an 18" snake wiggling all over under its claws. Grabbed the phone to get a pic... but when I went to stand up to get the pic out the top part (avoiding the screen behind lower window) it flew off with snake in tow. What a close-up sight to see!

Brad probably couldn't get his metal detector in the trunk with all the horse shoes in there!

Glad to hear you and the Mrs. are out and about having fun!

3 detectorist in a casino....hmm, sounds like an adventure to me. As long as you didn't make the papers, its all good! :D

I wonder if you could use a pinpointer to find the slot machine with the most coins in it?

Probably the one with the most electic current running through it. :D

No, no...those are called electrical outlets! :laughing7:

Seems to me the steel body of the slot machine would throw everything off - not to mention the numerous other layers of steel and parts on the inside. Even if you could ground balance your machine to one spot of the slot machine, any movement "should" ring up a signal. ...I would think.

No coins.
Paper is the medium now.
No more dirty coin residue on hands...no more clink ,clink, clink on a win.

No more security details moving carts of coin bags.

Sigh.

Went in a casino years back with my long saved up bag of quarters to find them obsolete.
