Listening to the Frank Zappa music in Pa Jeff's thread got me to
thinking about "back in the day"..
I'd work hard all day, then pick up some dinner and head home
to my little bachelor apt. (I think the rent was $265). Chow down,
smoke a bowl and then plug in the Robin Trower "Bridge of Sighs"..
..and yes, it was on 8-track.
Turn down the lights, and let the black light posters take over the
room..(Jemi Hendrix and some odd looking animated chick). I'd put
on my good Sony headphones, toss a pillow on the floor and spend
the next hour peacefully lost in the deep rhythm's of Trower's music..
Yep...those were the days..
