Hi all. Got out for a short hunt this morning. Thought I'd give the 1960's park that has given me 3 Merc's in the last year another chance. I was looking for my first war nickel and dug every repeatable signal that was 6 inches and deeper. Still haven't found one! I did dig a lot of older beaver tails, lol. I still have that feeling it's there waiting for me though. Today just wasn't the day to give it up to me. I did dig a 1942 P quarter, a green old, no date Wheat, one meager clad dime and an interesting looking little car. Meager finds but the silver is enough to get me to go back later and claim my nickel!

Way to go on the silver Dave. Nothing like a little beaver tail I always say.

I'm classifying Quarters as big silver now, since all I've gotten lately for silver is Mercs, congrats on the nice hunt !

Nice silver quarter find Dave!:occasion14:
You know what they say ... where there's one, there gotta be more!

Hope you get that War Nickel OD! They are fun to find. HH, Q.

Thank you, Mr. Q. I hope this fall gives the trio some great hunts because I enjoy seeing the incredible finds you guys share with us.

Thank you, Dave. This is my go to place when other plans fail.
