Recently acquired this metal tiger with Henry 1940-41 signed on the bottom and can't seem to find anything about the artist. Item is heavy but not sure what it is made of. Magnet does not stick to it. Would appreciate any help with information on the artist etc. Thanks

This Worthpoint listing is for 2 - described as bookends (sold $44.00 4/4/2010). Also here is a link to what sounds like a similar set called lions (no pics).

Here's another ebay but the actual listing is gone -

I can't find anything on the company, but if that is when they started then I would think it was a short lived business (as everything switched to the war effort afterward).

Thanks Bramblefind for the links. I had not thought of the possibility of it being a bookend but I guess as heavy as it is it would suit that purpose.

Yes nhbenz I am thinking the "Henry" company or artist was not very prolific . Was hoping the item might have been some rare famous artist named Henry. ..oh well I like the item so I guess it is valuable that way. Thanks for your post.
