Anyone up for a cold long hike up lytle creek's middle fork next week. I'm going very light camera,pan,shovel,crevicing tools. Hit me up I'll now the for sure day I'm tomorrow.

HB, had I have known I would have gone with you. I have found very little up there, except for a picker one time. I've been all the way back to the end of the road, not the shooting range road, but the turn off. My feeling was the overburden was too deep in the creek. The cliff walls might be promising, but then you're basically mining.

over 10 yrs back i found a few flakes down by the bridge , about 200-500 yrs up from the bridge .
