Hey everyone! I am a brand spanking new treasure/ Rock/ fossil/ relic history hunter here.... I seem to find a great deal of Indian relics and fossils but looking for something even more rare, exciting and well if it's valuable that's a plus too! But for me the excitement is in the hunt.... No metal detector yet- let me know if that's a must, otherwise I hope someone can give me some leads or advise or where and what's in my area that would be literally within a few miles from me! I know there must be history here- somebody help!!! ??????
I'm always looking for someone in the area who may want to show me the tricks so I'm free for a hunt too!! Thanks !!!!!!

What? Why not a warm welcome? I'm new, did I do something wrong?? Hi everyone- glad to find this site!! I hope they're may be some fellow Tennesseans with knowledge or something they've found to show me what I could or should look for....

Everybody's asleep. I give you our wholehearted welcome to the forum.

Welcome to Tnet, Michelle from Nashville. I live right on the Trace too. Too bad the Trace is off limits for treasure hunting.

Welcome Aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Tennessee for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome, start with your Library's local history section, dive in, you'll recognize a treasure lead when you see one.

Welcome to TreasureNet Michelle.

Thanks to BagLady, hopefully you'll not stumble into trouble in the Trace.

Don't allow that to change your mind about further adventures.

There's treasure everywhere. No doubt, as you evolve in this hobby, down the road sometime soon you'll really start thinking about a detector as well. The best advice any of us can give you is to just be patient. You could have hundreds of hours swinging a detector without finding anything you'd be proud of. And then SURPRISE!

All of my best finds came as a complete surprise when I'd just about given up on a site
