Military Button to Add to the Collection...and a Good One!

[romeo-1]

I got back out to the site I've been pounding to death and it still did not disappoint! I had three hours but only needed an hour to find the keeper. It's a Royal Nova Scotia Regiment silver plated officer's button. Regiment was only in existence from 1793 to 1802 so not too difficult to date the find! Not quite a Rev. War button but pretty close! Also got some brick-a-brack including a pistol shot musket ball, a toe tap and a tombac button.

Great button - WTG!

WTG. That's a great button, and a rare one to boot.
I would say that there are still some real goodies in the ground there, you just have to sniff them out.
Congrats and I hope to get out with you again soon.
