Re: millstone

Way to go, they are 'quite valuable', I have one my Grandfather handed down.

Fossis...............

Re: millstone

I found a couple nearly 6 feet in diameter way back in the woods near an 1800s quarry in the summer. They won't be moving anytime soon!

Re: millstone have pics !!

nice find, mill stones can bring some serious cash to the right buyer!!

Re: millstone have pics !!

Mill stons are very collectable and historical also. American pickers did a show and found one for William Shatner .

Re: millstone have pics !!

There is a buyer in Georgia and apparently these things are high dollar. Try: millstones.com and see the price of these things. Of course everything is higher priced in or around Atlanta and I think that where this millstone place is at. They look great in landscaping if you can afford to buy them or lucky enough to find them. I've gotten two from the local creek but both were broke in half and did not match. They now are in my front yard flowerbed standing up on their sides as if there were whole and buried into the ground.
