We went to the headwaters of the Ouachita River to an old swimming hole this evening. I couldn't get down there but the wife took the Nox and did some detecting in the boulders (no easy gravel or sand here). She was afraid to set the detector down in the water even though I kept telling her that it was water proof and needed dunking to make sure while it was still under warranty. She finally set it down and all was well so far. Nah, nothing good was found for all of the hard digging in the rocks. great to see the service being fast and good for your machine.
I enthusiastically second Calabash's opinion of Minelab's customer service. I had to send in a Pro Find 35 and an EQX 11 inch coil and received brand new replacements within a week! Service was second to none in my view.
They do a great job of tracking and turning around the exchange of your defective units for new ones. They don’t have to fix anything just verify your s/n and the fact that it is broke, flooded, whatever. makes for quick service given today’s infrastructure of electronic communication and fast delivery services. That box of detectors that have to get shipped back from PA to Chicago just keeps getting bigger.
