Minelab for nuggets

Now that I have asked questions and read the forum I am going to buy a Minelab. Not looking at the GPX5000 as the price is too steep for me. I am curious to know your opinions on choosing a model. GP 3000, GP extreme, SD 2100. I will be shooting in Yuma and areas around that part of the state. I already have a couple VLF detectors.

Both are great machines for nuggetshooting!!!!! I would go with the GP 3000, but I found a lot of gold with the SD 2100 as well - Big gold to you!

You may want to consider the MXT Pro with a 12" coil as a more cost effective alternative. Put in in prospecting mode and get busy.

If the ground is severe, and you don't have the big bucks, buy a used 2100, or 2200, or buy a new 2200. Any of the previous choices will cost you far less than the 5000, and either of the machines will sniff out sassy gold nuggets!
