Hay look at crystalpaynes first trip was a bust. she did the same thing your going to do with at the gold camp with a much larger unit than what you have
Might sample ya some time and money .im not trying to mess up your plans but it might help ya make some better plans
Do y'all live close to the gold camp?

We are around 2 hours away from the camp.

When you dig there look for gray clay in there high banker piles

That's usally where you. Will find the best gold usally

I have a small highbanker too and while my kids swear by it, I still dont trust it. Water flow is a huge problem running the little 1250 gph pump that came with it. And when using in recirculation it quickly clogs with biological material. If u have large riffles, u will have to put a fairly radical slope on the lower box or your cons will stack up in front of the riffles instead of behind them. That flow/angle thing will constantly change depending on the material you are running. If I could modify it myself, I'd ditch the riffles, and just run expanded metal over the ribbed carpet at a much shallower angle. As for the pump in recirculation mode, a small nylon stocking over the intake grates makes it much easier to clean the moss, grass, twigs, etc away and keeps it out of the pump!
