Missed it by THAT much!!

[mydejavooo]

Detected a house today, maybe from the 20's or so, and did NOT get the finds that I was hoping for, but at least I didn't come home empty handed. $.36 in change, a roll of copper wire, some trash....and a large token that made my heart skip a beat!! The token is about the same size and heft as a Morgan, and looked just like it when I dug it up! It was actually on edge, which really surprised me. Guess it's a WinCo Foods token from 15-20 years ago. So not totally skunked!

Oh, and I encountered "THAT" soil again today...the soil that literally eats the zincolns. Guess it has not seen some good watering and care in some time.

I'm just pleased with my Whites Prizm 5G for picking this one up, especially since it was laying straight on it's edge. So when I DO find a Morgan...it will pick it up!

My Whites just blows my ears off when I find any thing silver or copper. It depends on the quality of the metal. Interesting find.

Yeah, that's a good practice run for when the big silver shows up. That yellow thing looks like a laser pointer.
BTW, that's a cool animated picture... is it a meteorite?

Yeah, the laser pointer is junk, but I can NOW say that I've found just about everything....including a laser!! Hahaha!! And yes, that's a meteor coming into the atmosphere. If I recall correctly, that footage was caught by a police dash camera. I would have probably swerved and hit something!!
