Mississippi metal detectorists

Hey all,

I'm a new member from Madison, looking to get into the hobby. Been reading many forums on metal detecting, trying to decide on my first detector. Noticed most everyone on this forum has an AT Pro. Is it the best in that price range for the MS area? I do like the ground balancing, notching, and water features on the machine.

What part of madison county are you in? I work in gluckstadt and i could bring my at pro and makro racer and let you look and hold an at pro. Im jeremy and if your interested just let me know.

at pro both coils, makro racer, and detectnix pinpointer.

Well I've put a few hours on the Eurotek Pro and am really enjoying the hobby. Im in West Point area and would love to meet for food and or a hunt.

It is addictive, no doubt. Nothing like finding something that has been in the ground for 100-150 years. When you find yourself steadily looking for another good spot or wake up a night to write down an area to check, then you know you are hooked.

Everywhere I look, I've been told just me, but maybe we can door to door in canton, alot of old houses there. Kinda rough, but probably be aight in good part of town

I got a minelab 505, an a cheapo bounty hunter, but it's a good machine. Found some of my best finds with it, jus got the minelab 3 years ago, so I'm good with it now
