Hi yaw,
it’s been raining around here for 3 or 4 days now.
But I have found spells
where I could go out and hunt a little.
Monday I went to Sherwood and searched around a swimming pool that looked
promising. :P
All Speepy, (my Compadry), could come up with was clad and trash.
Tuesday I decided to use my Euro Sabre around a swimming pool close to my
house that I have hunted extensively with my Compadre. The Compadre only
goes down about 5“ in that bad ground there. I was digging targets 6” to 12”
deep!!! That’s with a 5.75” coil. It was clay and rocks. Muddy and hard to dig.
It wore me out in a short time.
I did manage to find a wheat penny, a silver ear ring and another small ear
ring. The silver ear ring was under those two rusty nails.
To day it was raining hard.
I noticed on the weather map that just south of
me it was not raining.
So I hopped in my car and drove to a fresh
water swim beach I know about in Hot Springs. I was lucky enough to miss the
rain enough to hunt for a little while.
When I drove up there was a guy there with a Garrett CZ20. I talked to him and
he shower me his finds. He had lots of coins and jewelry. I though OH NO!!!!
It’s a small beach and I could see where he had been all over it.
He left right after I got there so I had the beach to myself. I new that if I was going
find anything, I couldn’t use any discrimination. I decided to use my Euro Sabre.
He didn’t get it all.
I found about 7 ear rings. Three seem to be silver. One has a Quarts Crystal and
another one has some kind of black stone with a Genie painted on each side. I also
found a short piece of 14k gold chain. Shinny and clean, like new.
