Monument Valley

Wish I could have been here about an hour earlier. When I got here the sun was just dropping below the horizon, and I only got this one picture. It was a lot further away than what I would have liked. Would love to be able to spend a few days in this area. The Monument Valley was where a lot of John Wayne western were filmed.

Beautiful. Winter down there is wonderful, weathers nice, traffic is down and the motels are cheap. I'm going to visit TN as this game is depressing me. Thanks for the wonderful image. It helped me a little

Man...that is a GREAT pic! I've been there. Don't miss Valley of the Gods farther north towards Blanding, UT.

Great part of the country. I like goin down to Moab Utah when we can. It is John Wayne country, but Edward Abbey really inspired me to check that area out. If y'all don't know him, go demand his books at your local bookstore.
