Hit a couple sales early Saturday morning. Found my way to a roadside sale where some people set up tables in a grassy area next to a car wash. Picked up the following items:

-Tin Tool Toy Box - 25 cents
-Hollies Stop Stop Stop LP & Beach Boys Surfer Girl LP - $1
-Lowenbrau Light-up Beer Sign - $5
-1976 Garelli Eureka Moped - $25

Thats right, my first "big" score. Literally big, I mean. I told the guy to hold it and left to come back with my van to pick it up. It needs a coil, which I have already emailed 2 moped dealers to see if I can order one.

jerseyben, I tell you You are hitting some primo spots, last week a metal detector and this week a moped

Now the only problem I see is getting a good stereo system to play those 2 albums... That is unless you already picked it up prior, or expect to find a Marantz turntable next week

That Lowenbrau sign has some crazy action going on at eBay. One won't sell at $12 then two days later an identical one will sell for $50+. Same deal with the Surfer Girl LP.

No spark. Just ordered a new coil for a whopping $21. Should arrive by the end of the week.

Check out this link. I thought that brand of Moped was one of the most expensive one's in the 70's. You will be shocked when you see what it sold for.
