More nails then I can shake a stick at.

[possumheaded]

Hey guys and gals. Here are some pics from the stuff I found this morning and over the past couple of days at the cellar hole in the woods behind my house. I hope all this nail diggin' will pay off. I tried getting out away from the hole and found many more spots of nothing but nails and barbwire. It's a little discouraging sometimes but I'm determined. A couple of the pieces I am going to post in the What Is It forum after I get through here.

Also, I went to the old church I got permission to detect a couple of times and found lost of junk as well but here are some of the more interesting finds.

One day I'll get the good stuff.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Ed

Keep chipping away at the iron in that site...you'll find a coin there that's an oldie, if the spot has some history to it.

Here's some inspiration for ya:

Is that an ear ring with the Budweiser logo? If it is, thats the most redneck thing I've ever seen. Keep at it. the finds will come.

That's what it is. I thought it was just another bottle cap when I found it, I just put it in my pouch to throw away with the rest of them. When I got home and started throwing things out I felt something on it so I cleaned the dirt off and that's what it was. I wonder what the girl who wore it looked like? Something Jeff Foxworthy might say. If you make your earrings out of Budweiser bottle tops, you might be a redneck!
Thanks for the comment.

loads of iron lol but hey keep it up there is stuff still there

Thanks for the comments. The latest issue of Lost Treasure had a great article on old nails. I am glad I read it before I chunked this batch. I've thrown the others in the trash but this is the first batch that had a lot of the older nails in it. I may clean em' up and make some kind of display out of them.

P.S. Thanks for the inspiration Buckleboy!

Hey! Looks like you've been digging in my spot! But I appreciate the help with the nails.

I had my share of rusty, crusty nails too. Would you like a few more?

I'll pass. I've got plenty more where those came from. A couple of good things about all these nails is the digging experience I have gained and I've gotten really good at pinpointing my target.
Thanks anyway.

I can't believe that Budweiser beer cap earring didn't make the banner. I could have sworn that it would.

LOL

Maybe one day I'll find something worthy of the banner.
Thanks,

Well. If you want to take a look at my first hundred posts on Tnet, you will notice that the only thing missing in your pictures are the shotgun shells! :P

Keep going, Possum!! You'll get those keepers soon! Nana
