Most interesting way to obtain silver???

went to the coinstar today after i dumped a roll of half dollars at a hannaford. looked in the reject tray.. nothing. then i saw through the trash screen what looked like a coin. Went out to my car. grabbed a pencil took out some handy gum. chewed it for a minute went back in with a pencil with gum on the end and succeded at obtaining some free silver. small to say the least but well worth my interesting effort.

rewards of this act was a 1966 NETHERLANDS ANTILLES 1/10 GULDEN

about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of a US dime, 0.0283 oz ASW?? not sure on exact content, but it is definately small and does not have much silver, but silver nonetheless. 40% silver, i think. HH!

I used to live there btw Ten years on Sint Maarten. There was another coin called a "rijksdaalder" which is between a half dollar and Ike dollar in size, but thicker, nice and big and heavy. Coins nowadays aren't what they used to be

its silver none the less and yes its somewhere around 2/3 the size of a dime. very small. little bigger then the end of a pencil eraser
