Anyone here think they have a record for most-silver coins in a day ? Not counting caches or planted hunts, etc... Just fumble fingers one-at-a-time coins. My personal best was 46. That was during beach storms in 1996 here in CA.

I've heard of guys here during beach storms who've teetered around 100 in a day, and a bit over that in fact.

On land, this would be nearly impossible I'm guessing. But ....... I suppose a virgin fairgrounds, or never-before-hunted park or something ...... ?

Is he happy about saying his record for fumble finger gold coins?? Of course not, Mr Braggodocious has to say his most fumble fingers in one hunt too. The only reason you've found more than others is cause you just have been lucky and had good spots to hunt at. Chill bro, you're not making fans this way!

The most I ever detected in one hunt was seven. I guess I'm a lightweight! :laughing7:

To me the way you word your posts you come across very braggadocios or trying to be the best by excluding caches and only counting "fumble fingers" as coin records. The gold coin thread was on Friendly Metal Detecting Forums fyi.

Let him ask his question in peace, participate or get out.
Now COME ON, GET IN!

Hey Dan nice to see you on this forum, love your videos. Keep them coming.

Are you the dan from the videos ?

Tom; ignore him.
When I lived on the Venice beach there was a time I would not come into the apartment for dinner until I collected $1.00. I never missed an on-time dinner--though I never kept court of the number of coins I would find to get to that $1.00 figure. Good memories of the 70s and how easy it was then to collect.
Don.......
