Moving to NC mountains

If anyone has any leads on lost treasures in NW NC mountains I would love to hear them. I’m moving there in February and as I’m from there originally I know the area pretty well.

Well you will be within driving distance of Dahlonega Georgia, the source of the first gold rush, there are all kinds of Indian caches rumored to be in that vicinity. I know of a guy who has found a couple...they could have been non-Indian too...maybe. One guy on one of the threads here was trying to find sources of some Spanish silver/gold mines in your area too. Hernando Desoto's sword was found in Georgia a few years ago by an amateur archeologist.
