Hey y'all

I went to an empty an empty lot where they tore down a house in the 1930s and found this poor little merc, silver #39 for the year, I hope I can make 40 by year end

Congrats wheat finder and good luck making your goal. You'll get there, maybe even 50 :-)
It's amazing how many coins get hit by those damn mowers!

Do any of y'all have your own lawn mower coins? Please post pics. Lets see some mangled coins

This is just a small handful of the many mangled coins that I'm the proud owner of :-) luckily there's nothing old or valuable in my mower finds

I have a 1942 quarter that was dinged by a lawn mower - but cut silver is better than clad any day!

That is sad. The Mercury dimes are some of my favorite coins. I find a heck of a lot of clad that is cut by mower blades or bent in half. I also find a lot of zin-colns that are disintegrating or almost completely dissolved.

I have half bowl full of those. Zinc sucks. They rot faster than anything I've ever seen.

I'm glad to see you gave the poor old gal a good resting place.

Anyone else's bent coins?

At lest you've got all of it. Still a real nice find.
