I found these 2 Musketballs in a field that was used during Revolutionary war for drilling. In this field I have found 2 Woods Hiberians and one KG2. I was wondering if there was a way to date the musket balls? They are two different sizes, the one on the left looks almost white. I see some type of star pattern on the white ball. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd need to see the one with the star pattern from the other side, it is probably a modern shotgun slug as Rev War bullets had no such marks. The other one looks right.

It looks like it might be a pattern, but I was told it might be a mark from where the cloth patch ignited. Why is the ball totally white? Does that have to do with age? Thanks again
