Whats a cull? Im thinking of sending it out to get graded but not sure if its worth the money to do it...but 15 I thought was nuts.

might push $200 on that coin to be real w/ you

What rly that much? And where is the coin forum im on my phone cant find it.

Thank you I just found the coin section and posted on there..I dont know much abt coins but I was thinkin the guy was full of craps. Its my first old big coin besides my 2 Indian head penny's from 1887 and 1903. And my mercury dime from 1943.

You never know been only doing this my second year and lot of digging in woods and plenty of ticks too lol.

I could only wish. Living in Florida, will never find something like that.

Nice! You are not far from me. I keep looking, and hoping! Any way to tell the date?

No way I'd sell the coin! In 1819 there were a little over 9 million Americans. Think who may have held that coin, President Monroe, John Marshall, Henry Clay, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson. Holding a very early American coin almost 200 years old....PRICELESS. And how many can say they dug it up.

Nice find ! Sounds like your coin guy is really shady don't go back! Dug coins are graded all the the Time and labeled environmental damage
