Got out for a quick hunt at lunch today. With in the first ten minutes I hit my 1st barber. I've hunted this lot before after it was scraped with not to much luck. A tractor came back recently to fill in the stone lined well. I think the tracks must have brought her to the surface. Also got a ornate broach Thanks for looking!

Exciting finds jcobb ! I'll never forget my first Barber find , I was staying at a very rustic guest ranch in the mountains above Pecos , NM.
up around 8,500 ft. A dear friend of mine owns this property and I had permission to run around with my detector . I started out near the
lodge which dates back to 1912 - The sun was nearly setting beneath the ridge and I got a penny/dime type signal on an old White's 5900
and there she was a 1903 Barber dime . Mine was worn pretty slick ,( probably dropped in the 1930's ). The year was 2008 and this was
my first 100+ year old silver ! Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome! I won't forget this find either. I was only looking to get out to swing for a bit. Maybe hopeful to find some clad. With that said, when I seen it was silver I was hoping for a Merc and not a Rosie lol Made my day when I seen the wreaths on the back and stopped rubbing it lol

Congrats on your first barber, and many more to come...

Thats a Goodie! My first one was paper thin...Hopefully you find the jar full of them out there

Congrats to you,nice coin.

I don't know how you could go back to work after that, lol! Still waiting on my first too. Congrats and nice little jewelry find too.

Great find...always good to recheck hunting areas, found my first Barber quarter by constantly re-checking a house remodel.dirt constantly being moved is a plus. Congrats

Congratulations on your first Barber! I hope you find many more!
