SWEET! 8-) Congrats on such a nice find.

Congrats on a nice Nickel,I have yet to find one of those.I did manage an 1864 2 center this spring though in Manchester,NH

Hey salty, just out of curiosity, what size is a 2 center compared to a common coin? I ask because last month I dug an old copper. Its completly smooth and a bit bigger than a nickle but smaller than a quarter. A coin? The world will never know....

Oh, oh, oh! What a great find! Local to us? Just curious.

HH,
Anita

Here in greenfield. Center of a Class A road. Ive found some goodies this (my first) year hunting in the roads. Gonna be fun hunting them again next year with a deeper seeking set up.

You skipped over buffs and v nicks! Nice finds though!

Great find! I have found one pre-1900 nickel. An 1897 V nickel.

A v-nickels #3 on my top 5 wish list. A merc dimes my #1. Kinda silly, I know.

Congrats on a nice shield nickel. :icon_thumright: Is the date readable?

HH

Gratulations on a great find!
