My 6th Coin from the 1600s...and the Oldest of the Bunch!!!!

I went for a quick hunt in my "stand-by" beside my house...1st target was a 1st for me. It's a French Liard. The other side is smooth so I can't give a date but best guess would be mid 1600s. I may be able to pull a date with a little cleaning.

What a beauty of a find! I doubt i'll ever see one of those around where I live, but you can bet i'll try. Your standby site really pays off for you, no travel time, a short hunt and you pull a great coin like that.........who could ask for more!
