MY 86TH COPPER ON THE YEAR*CT COPPER

went back up to my very 1st cellar hole.I wanted to work the area across the dirt rd from the cellar hole where I think the barn sat. Never had much luck there in a few other attempts but I figured they hadda drop somethin.
a musketball,2 hand forged iron buckles,a piece of pewter shoe buckle,a saddle shield thing,a one piece designed button and last target was under a bar berry bush.my 86th large copper coin of the year.a corroded 1780's Connecticut colonial copper

great finds! I found 2 of the saddle things as well. I thought they may have been some form of rank insignia, but I wasn't sure since I wasn't able to find them online.

Congrats man, 90 is definitely in your future, seeing in the past some of your "snow" hunts.

Returning to your first cellar hole is still paying off, I like that, have a similar site (navy button)

I'm afraid winter has set in, in cold country, and I'm about done. Reality is a hard pill to swallow. (laughing smiley)
