My at pro keeps beeping then wont make a sound??

MackDigger,

You need to be more descriptive than that. It is difficult to diagnose over the internet. Good luck.

Mike

It just locks into a singnal and starts a long solid beep that won't stop.

Start by taking out the batteries and test a new set. Then do a factory reset, hold the on button for 5 secs and listen for the double beep, then if no good, disconnect and reconnect the coil and headphones, after all of this if it's the same, time to call garret. Oh, one more thing, whilst the batteries are out, push every button several times and ensure nothing is holding one down or sticking etc.

Thanks I will let ya know how it goes

Id say if u cant figure it out call garrett, awesome customer service. Theyll likely send u a replacement or replacement coil no questions asked

Sounds like a faulty connection or junk batteries...But yes, Garrett always has your back.

So what was the outcome Mack????
