my best finds 2014 from holland.

Nice finds, but the 17th century silver cache is just unbelievable! The crowns and half crowns were beautiful! I bet you were on cloud 9 for a while on that one!

Thanks guys.
We had a good year.
Hope for more and better finds this year.

Post more finds like that, and we'll all be buying tickets to the Netherlands to hunt with you! Good luck in 2015!

Cool vids and spectacular finds..
I am curious...
What is the "status" of the finds?
Are you able to keep them all? or do you have to report and turn in ?
What was the "agreement" if any to do those digs?
Is this on private or public grounds ?
What made you... or how did you choose this location?
I could keep doing this all day.
Where is the story ? heh... I... as well as many others... not only want to see the finds... but the story behind the finds.

Well we need to have permission from the farmer .
The farmers are verry easy over here to get permission.
If we find something older then 1500 we have to report it,
we can keep the finds.
If we want we can sell them to a museum.
If its real treasure we have to sell it and one part is for the land owner and the other half is for the finder.
There are a lot off places with a lot off history.
But these finds are a lot off hours hunting.
Hope i typt it wright haha.

Thanks for satisfying the curiosity/thirst of story.
Very cool... and sounds like a "sane" approach there.

Wish the U.S. would adopt similar.

On to the next finds.
