These are actually my finds from yesterday, not today. Anyway, I got out to a school I hadn't detected yet. My wife was going to the Mall to have her nails done and I had her drop me off at a random school I had found on Goggle Earth. I found the little Tinkerbell/Fairy pendant within just a few minutes of getting there and it has the 925 mark on it. I was kinda going along, finding clad and not much else when I got kind of a strange sounding signal. It was bouncing between penny and dime and I remembered a post on here about someone else finding a gold ring in that range on the Ace250. Well I dug and about 4 - 5 inches down I found the ring. It looks like it had some kind of mark on the inside of the band but it's worn down and I can't make out what it says. I've only found 2 gold rings since I've been detecting and both of those have been smaller then this one. I'll bring it in to a jeweler and have it checked to make sure it's really gold but it sure looks it to me!
After that I got out in the afternoon to the creek where I've found some older bottles. I found some pretty cool ones this time including 2 old milk bottles. I also noticed a kinda strange looking rock and it turned out to be a cool fossil.
All in all a fun day!
