My Birthday Finds with Crusader

I had trouble with the new camera last night.....and today, but I finally got the hang of it

This was from 10 hours yesterday! Not a bad way to spend a birthday

When you have a field that's producing that many hits :P it can be quite hard to winkle the Hammered out but a good Birthday hunt

SS, what is the thing next to the knife terminal with all the rust

Next to the square with the X on can't see it very clear, is it hexagonal

Hard to describe really Not hexagonal, but the shape of the front of a ship(looking down on it)

I think it's part of a knife

Looks a little Saxon like, I wonder if eletroloysis will help Maybe a scabbard mount, can't really tell from that picture

Nice Finds Shaun. Those coppers are sweet and that Carolus Royal Farthing looks to be in pretty good condition to. Those are some sweet looking lead seals as well. That

is a great way to spend a birthday, Congrats my friend

That's because the corosian was stoping you from making a clean contact, if it doesn't fiz, it's not making a connection
