My brick patio.

This is the start of my brick patio. I have laid over 800 bricks so far. I need about that many more to finish my vision. There were alot of bricks hade here in Pa. When I am out digging and find any whole bricks I bring them home with me. This winters weather pushed some bricks up and some stayed flat. I thought all that work to get it flat had been ruined by Mother Nature in just one winter. The warmer weather is finally here and things have thawed out. My patio is flat once again and can't wait until it is done so I can have a party on it! It might take a year or two. Thanks for looking! DD

Fantastic work! And way to recycle the brick

I sometimes bring the bricks back from the sites too. I have been using them to line the edges of my flower garden.

Really like the way that looks DD. I did a similar thing years ago but I used dry cement in between the bricks and then hit it with a water hose. Mild winters in Louisiana so didn't have to worry about ground freeze. I can appreciate the work involved. Well done!
