My finds today

Some old canning lids with glass inserts, a post and tube and some thing I have no idea what it is.

Every time I find one of those lids, especially if it is still in the bottom of your hole after initial dig.......ONE OF THESE DAYS it's gonna be attached to a jar full of coins! IT'S GONNA HAPPN, DANGIT!

The item center bottom, kind of looks like an old D cell battery.

Its a post and tube. I used to work electrical so I knew what it was when I dug it.

I found a hill that's filled and I mean filled with that white porcelain lids some day the coin jar Im hoping too

Today found my first coin. A 1968 Nickel. Nothing big but there has to be a first.
