Eagle eye. Looks like you are getting some cool pieces from the manufacture process. You are in a good area. Keep at it and stop chewing on that coprolite haha. Welcome to the forum! Jump right in glad to have ya.

Is the roundish piece to the far left in the middle row drilled?

its surely drilled, here is the drill, i found all three about a foot apartDSC00234.webp, the round rock is drilled too

Where are the two Projectile Points you say you found? I don't see them in any of your pictures. Also, that stone isn't drilled and the piece in the middle isn't a Drill. They are all natural stones.

Welcome to the site Ee. The last 2 you posted are scrapers. You might have some others in the first pic but it isnt a good picture kinda dark. Take your pics outside and use the marco setting. Thanks, rock

most of the stuff i have found is broken and poorly made but my friend has some stuff that is just epic hes been hunting the same area im hunting on private land for a couple years hopefully some day soon here ill find some better stuff

Sometimes it takes time. Do not get discouraged. I am seeing some worked pieces in the pile and a possible scaper which would be your best tool. Sometimes we sound harsh when we say just a "rock" but we really are not. We all started right where you are and this boards goal is to help you any way we can. Keep posting sir.

The rock you thought was a drill has a very....anatomical....shape.

Took me 4 months of hunting, to find my first point (kirk) .. Looks like you are on the right track. Nice finds. :icon_thumright:

thanks TNMOUNTAIN positive encouragement is always nice criticism is what i need or i would probably end up with a big collection of rocks and not ancient tools thanks everyone

Dude, I am trying to help you and nothing you posted is a Projectile Point. Some of them may be Flake Tools or Scrapers, but none of them are Points. Keep trying and you will eventually find one.

EE you are onto something...you have plenty of flakes there and will find one real soon. Study those flakes so you k ow your lithics. Then no matter where you are at in your location your eye will spot that lithic out from the rest of the stones.......good luck it is only a matter of time....welcome to the forum.....

EE where are you from? You remind me of another member we use to have.

thanks reaper i must have just found scrapers and bunch of garbage better luck next time i guess

I think you may have a couple of scrapers, and a very nice burin, or graver (top row center first pic). I saw plenty of debitage, but no garbage. Hang in there eagle eye, you will learn the lingo too.

Eagle, i did not find anything like you did my first dozen trips, and none of it is garbage. If it was i have literally have 2 dozen boxes of garbage myself. I only started last fall hunting myself. My first find was not a stone artifact, it was10 to 25 thousand year old Bison Antiquus bones. Keep up the good work and Happy Hunting!

EE, you are in a good spot so keep looking. You have lots of chips which I also collect. I collect the chips to compare knapping materials that have been used. The large red rock you called coprolite looks like a concretion.
Stay out there, keep your head down, walk into the sun and walk slow.
