here what i found in two hours this afternoon when HH'ing with twitko, his son krovert, and our boss john
this is only what i found and is just a fraction of the stuff they found
the very nice KRF northern hanna was found by john but he told me to take it home and post with my portion of the finds....and said he will bring the rest of his finds to me tomorrow or so to post..........
.......he also found something cool which i will be posting-a single notch arrow point called 'the mandan' which is a name coined by ernest steinbrueck a few hundred years ago........
.......they are pretty rare, we only find a couple each year
i gotta say that the hanna is an extremely great example and could very well be the only one we find this summer...................
...................................... i am happy that it was just found by someone other than russy.............(just kidding)
anyway kind of of a pleasing assortment
the petrified wood knife blade and scraper were the first finds along with the white petrified wood triangle and the moss agate gouge
also a few pottery shards with the finger/fingernail impressions which don't come along too often

#5 pic is that the gouge? We call those square knifes here. You had a good hunt and as always you found some great artifacts. Must be a lucky week for everyone.
